The Jägermeister Music Lab is an annual initiative in Italy that aims to discover and support emerging electronic music talents. Partnering with MAT Academy, a renowned Italian DJ academy, the project offers ten artists the chance to become the official Music Meister of the year. The Lab provides participants with state-of-the-art equipment and a week of learning and living together, including mentorship from industry leaders. Started in 2017, the Jägermeister Music Lab has become a cornerstone of the Italian electronic music scene, boosting numerous young artists' careers, while consistently enhancing Jägermeister’s presence in the music industry, at festivals and events.

The award is held to support music artists and bands and is aimed at the development of the music industry as a whole and the discovery of new talents among young artists. Specifically, it seeks to discover and support new names in the Young Blood nominations (People’s Choice, Jury Choice, Brand Choice), as well as to recognize special events and releases in the main eight nominations: ARTIST OF THE YEAR, TRACK OF THE YEAR, VIDEO OF THE YEAR, COLLABORATION OF THE YEAR, PHENOMENON OF THE YEAR, LABEL OF THE YEAR, VENUE OF THE YEAR, JOURNALIST OF THE YEAR.
